I would be considered the LAST person on the face of the Earth to write a testimonial about a great dental experience! Having had some very bad ones in the past and being the world's largest baby when it comes to the fear of dentists and pain , the last thing I ever wanted to see again was that dreaded chair! However, I was faced one day with extreme pain and having to have an emergency root canal. My dentist did not do those and couldn't find anyone who could do it for me that day being that this all happened later in the afternoon...yes, this would be my kind of luck! By the Grace of God, one of the doctors from her practice happened to briefly meet Dr.Deshpande at some gathering and remembered her name but knew nothing about her in the profession. They made a call to her office and she graciously agreed to stay and wait for me to get there instead of calling it a day and going home. Now...root canal.....does this even remotely sound like fun? Plus, if you are like me, you undoubtedly asked others ( experts of course ) of their experiences with root canals so you can only imagine how I was feeling at this time .MUCH to my surprise, when I arrived at the office, I was greeted as if they had known me for years which immediately made me feel more comfortable ( not fully though! ) Poor Dr.Deshpande and her staff.....having to deal with my agonizing apprehension, fear of anything that remotely looks like a needle and shaking like a leaf! I'm sure I was crying as well....when I tell you I have a dislike for dental work and pain I am not kidding! Luckily I suppose, the pain was so severe, I got in that dreaded chair! After I was nice and numb, all I remember was her asking a few times if I was alright........next thing I know, she says you're done. I'm thinking..what? They just started! Where's the pain? What just happened here? I'll tell you what happened.....the BEST root canal experience anyone could ask for! I want to thank you and Staff for putting up with me! Dineen Stevens
